It was a Windy Day!!!

Today has been my favorite day so far (but I might say that every day). We didn't have a set schedule, so we had a relaxing go of things.

I began my day with breakfast at the hotel, which was great. I admit, I only ate chocolate croissants and oranges, but everything else looked good! We then went on a heavenly drive to a National Park that had a castle, but before we got there, we made a stop at a fortress ruin. The view was magnificent here. I felt alive. When we made it to the park, we watched a video in a heated room. I almost fell asleep, it was great. Then, we left to go see the castle. This Castle was capital G Gorgeous!! The gardens, the architecture, and the history were all a-ma-zing. We were allowed to wonder off around the castle grounds, so we went on random paths through nature and saw the lake and all the amazing vegetation that has been introduced to the landscape. After working up an appetite, we ate at the Castle Cafe. They had the best lunch I've had in ireland. My palette is not the most sophisticated; however, the ham and cheese sandwich and chocolate muffin were top tier.

We then made the decision to take the scenic route to our hotel. This two hour bus ride was breathtaking. Every twist and turn held a new herd of sheep, a new body of water, or another hill stretching out on the horizon. I wanted to jump out of the bus and run through everything (the wind and cold probably would've stopped me). We got out of the bus on a cliffside and boy oh boy was the wind blowing!! I about flew away. We spent the rest of the day chill-axing at the hotel, which is also beautiful.

All in all, I'd rate this day a twenty out of ten. I would recommend and I would do it again.

See y'all tommorow (bright and early :() (But it's ok because I'm in Ireland :))
